Stoke reserves v Arsenal at Barnet, 6 October
This match will take place at Barnet's Underhill Ground on Monday 6th October, KO 7pm. Quite a few Southern Stokies are thinking of making an everning of this. Join us at the match (FREE admission) and follow us to the pub afterwards if you wish. If you get there early before the match, you could join Norman and others in the Old Red Lion, which is right by the ground and easily spotted from High Barnet tube.

Coachmakers Arms in Hanley - petition
The Coachmakers Arms in Hanley is under the threat of demolition due to development. If you do not know the pub it a cracking, friendly little place with four individual rooms, the way proper pubs used to be before they were “themed”. Another bit of how Stoke-on-Trent used to be that will be gone forever. There is an online petition to save it at www.thecoachmakers.co.uk .
