Rules for use of the messageboard

1. The SCSSC car share messageboard shall only be used for advertising offers/requests relating to sharing of transport to Stoke City matches. It is intended mainly for car sharing but it may also be used for getting groups together for other types of travel, e.g. trains.

2. Any arrangements made by individuals as a result of using the messageboard shall be entirely at their own risk. SCSSC make no guarantees nor accept any responsibly for the safety and security of individuals making travel arrangements as a result of contact via the messageboard.

3. Messages with inappropriate or irrelevant content are not permitted and will be removed by Site Admin. For example:

• messages should be short and to the point
• no swearing, use of inappropriate language, abuse etc.
• do not post any details about other members
• no duplicate messages (editing/re-posting to improve ranking is ok, within reason)
• do not post a message to reply to another post – use the contact function instead.

4. Respect the privacy of other users of the messageboard. In particular, you must transmit details and/or email addresses of other messageboard users to third parties.

5. Any member in breach of these rules and the further guidance given elsewhere on this website, or otherwise behaving inappropriately, may be barred from using the messageboard by the Site Admin, and depending on the severity of the breach may be subject to further sanction by SCSSC.

6. SCSSC is permitted to reproduce messges with contact details in its monthly members newslletter.

7. SCSSC accepts no responsibility for any spam email, viruses or other malware received by users as a result of using this messageboard (see our Privacy/anti-spam policy for more information on this topic).

8. In any matter relating to use of the messageboard, any decision made by Site Admin is final.

9. SCSSC reserve the right to withdraw the messageboard service at any time.

10. By posting on the messageboard, users are deemed to have accepted these rules.
