Booking arrangements for Minibus trips

Contact Les Tuck as early as possible by calling him on 020 7720 3959. You can also use the contact form (travel - minibus/car option), but this may take a little longer as Les does not check his email every day.

Pick up route is normally via Battersea – Waterloo- Euston (ring Les to confirm). Price is normally only finalised on the day when we know how many are travelling.

Note: to the letter of the law, the consumption of Alcohol on our minibus trips is illegal (it can also be unpleasant for your fellow travellers).

Booking arrangements for rail trips (Virgin Trains only)

Please either ........

• contact us using the contact form on this website
• OR send an email directly to us using the current email address for travel (Gary)
• OR telephone* Gary Kemp on 020 8298 1175 evenings, or leave a message on his answer phone
• OR send a cheque for the required amount to Gary Kemp at: 34a Woolwich Road, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA7 4HU (cheques should be made payable to SCSSC Travel)

Where initial contact is by email or telephone, you will still need to provide a cheque IN ADVANCE OF THE MATCH (either on a previous trip or by post).

PLEASE BOOK EARLY - THE SUNDAY BEFORE THE MATCH IS NORMALLY THE FINAL DEADLINE. After this the best we can offer is to put you on a waitlist for 'returns', i.e. late cancellations.

Cancellations/missed trains policy

Once we have confirmed the number of tickets required with the train company, we have to pay for those tickets no matter what! If you cannot travel on the day, you will still be liable to pay for your booked ticket, unless you can give us advance notice and we are able to re-allocate your ticket to someone else (from the waitlist). Group travel tickets are only valid for the train time stated on the ticket. If you travel on any other train, you may be liable to pay the full fare (it depends on the attitude of the staff on the train - don't take it for granted that you will get away with it!) It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive in time for the trains.

Booking arrangements for other trips

This includes trips run by other APFSCIL clubs.

Arrangements will vary from match to match and will be advertised in full on the main trip details page.

If in doubt, contact us selecting the 'travel - general/other' option where someone will be able to help.

Please note that for trips run by other APFSCIL clubs, SCSSC will normally be liable to pay for any non-payers from our club (normally the same rules apply as for our own trips - if you book, you must pay, whether you travel or not!) If this happens, we will treat it as if you defaulted on payment for one of our of our trips!
